Respina Band
Sasan was born in 1966 and he start to play guitar by his own when he was 18 years old.
He was self-educated on playing guitar and writhing lyrics and song writing.
He loved Rock music from the beginning.
After a few years he and his friends decide to make an underground rock band. At first, they cover rock songs from famous bands like Deep Purple, Pink Floyd, Queen, Dire Straits and …
They called their band “Respina” and after a few months they began to write and play their own music.
The old members of the band were:
Sasan Izadkhast: lead guitar and vocals
Payam abdollahi: keyboard and vocals
Pejman Izadkhast: bass
Amir rashidi (RIP): rhythm guitar
Majid abdoli: drums
they started to perform their music since 1998 until sasan moved south Korea in 2003.
The very first performance was in Farabi Hall, and they played some cover songs from Carlos Santana, Joe Satriani, Queen, and some original instrumental songs was written by the band members.
After a while they were invited to perform in Gorgan city, they had one of the best performances they ever had but unfortunately the band was broken since sasan left iran.
First album of respina band was named”baad-e-Norouzi” but it never published. Only one song named “in-kist” was published and ranked as 13th best song in Tehran Avenue competition.
The band was some how broken but they reunion in 2018 with some changes in members and start over the rehearsals and performs new songs written by Sasan.
His first album named” Exir” was published in 2020 and his new album will come in 2023. The Exir labum is completely created by Sasan.
Recently they performed in many under ground events because of Iran’s restrictions about rock and metal music.
